Matsudayama Herb Garden Restaurant

Lunch at the restaurant. We were tired because we did not understand elevator and went up on stairs. Since I visited at the Sakura Festival, I chose a limited-time Ashigara beef hamburger bowl 1,000 yen. I think it is a tourist resort price, but it looks like loco moco and the volume is OK. Also comes with soup. If the seat is vacant, you can see the cherry blossoms from above.

Cherry blossom come earlier this year. In early March I visited this park and It was fulled by cherry blossom. There is cherry blossom festival. You can go there by provided bus and will stop every 30 minutes. It was rain when I came there, but I can still enjoy the cherry blossom here.

I went to the Matsudasan Herb Garden on the same site as the Matsuda Sakura Festival for the first time.Kawazu cherry blossoms are in full bloom and leaves begin to appear, and there is no rush of flowers yet, but is it almost over?The combination with rape was only near the entrance of the herb garden, but the rape was in full bloom. Many birds, such as white-eye, warbler, sparrow, and bulbul, flew to suck the cherry nectar. There were a lot of decorative chicks and hanging chicks in the children's hall, and it was beautiful.In addition, there are playgrounds for children, such as hometown mini SL and roller slides, but they are a bit lonely. Herbs around the herb garden are still early without leaves.

Kawazu cherry blossoms were very beautiful against the background of Mt. Fuji. The combination of pink Kawazu cherry and yellow rape is also beautiful. The cherry blossom festival was very crowded, and a lot of cars lined up in the temporary parking lot in the distance.

The cherry blossoms bloom earlier than normal in the warm winter and the cherry blossoms are scattered, but the oranges were delicious. There were many tourists.

We visited for the cherry blossom festival, and it was lovely! The entrance fee is super cheap and it wasn’t too busy. There were a variety of snack stalls out and the staff were all very friendly! At dusk they also illuminated the cherry trees. We even got a glimpse of Mount Fuji!

Usually parking is free. During the Kawazu Sakura festival, the parking lot will be charged due to heavy crowds. Herbs are usually the main. There are toilet vending machines, shops and cafeterias.

Spring is the most beautiful place, and when the rape blossoms are in full bloom, many visitors come to the park. There are many stores and various foods are on display. Especially the rockfish skewers were delicious.

You can get a panoramic view of Matsuda from the herb garden on the top of the mountain. If you visit at a good time, you can see a lot of greenery. There are not so many types of plants (although there seemed to be more than 20 types), but I am happy that there is no admission.

I took a child with a disability and screamed loudly, but the employees at the store did not have a bad face and spoke gently to me. I think that it is a well-understood facility with works by the people in the workshop.I will go play again.

The dark pink that is different from Yoshino cherry is pretty and healed by collaboration with rape blossoms. In the morning on a sunny day, you can enjoy the blue sky and Mt. Fuji together. About 20 minutes from both Odakyu Shin-Matsuda and Matsuda Station on the JR Gotemba Line. Odakyu can use more electronic money. Also, people with bad feet are strict. There are buses but they line up quite a bit. In particular, be prepared to return. If you have good legs, it is a bit difficult to climb, but you will be healed by the wonderful scenery. There are shops and restaurants for lunch, but they are quite lined up so it is better to take them with you. It was a bit small, but there were places where leisure sheets were laid. Very rarely, some people start serving a large number of sake, but only family members, couples and elderly people. It is a good place to enjoy the early spring.

On the day of posting, we could see both Kawazu Sakura (about 7-8 minutes bloom) and rape blossoms. It is good on weekdays, but it is better not to go by car on weekends.
